Creating visions and supports for your child’s future
It is never too late or too early to plan. Futures planning begins to open opportunities in the school and in the community for individuals with learning challenges. Planning can build a support network for both the family and the individual and can lead to the establishment of important relationships. Partnerships between parents (guardians) and professionals will be developed to ensure the best possible supports and services for a child. The Futures Planning process faciliates change or direction in services to be more responsive to the need(s) of the individual.
